What is the average diesel price today?

Today the national average for regular diesel is 2.273 € a litre. We work it out from DGEG's public prices updated in the last 7 days, at 2,841 stations.

What is the difference between regular and premium diesel?

Premium (additive) diesel has engine-cleaning additives. Today it costs 5 cents a litre more than regular on average.

Will diesel go down next week?

The estimate comes out on Friday around 6 pm and shows whether diesel should go up or down the following week. It is an estimate, not an official figure.

Why is the average here different from DGEG and the news?

The average DGEG publishes, which the news quotes, already takes off a standard card discount, so it reads a few cents lower. Here we show the posted pump price, which is what you pay without a discount and matches DGEG's 'without discount' average.
